FAQs – BPUT CGPA, SGPA & Marks

Everything you need to know about BPUT grade calculations.

BPUT had no marks system until 2020. Each subject is out of 100, with 'O' grade mapped to 90–100. This app uses the official CGPA-to-percentage formula to estimate your secured marks.
Go to the 'Marks' section, enter your CGPA and number of subjects (or sum of known marks). The app instantly calculates your total and secured marks.
After clearance, updated SGPA isn't reflected automatically. Re-enter your grades in the SGPA utility, replacing 'F' with your actual cleared grade — that gives your corrected SGPA.
Yes, if the results match your official marksheets. We follow all BPUT guidelines strictly, but accuracy is ultimately your responsibility.
Until 2020, BPUT didn't issue marks. Prefer CGPA/SGPA/Percentage unless marks are explicitly required by the portal.
Convert your CGPA to Percentage using the official formula, then calculate equivalent marks in this app. Ensure the derived percentage exactly matches your CGPA-based percentage.
